Goliath is a well-written mini-series with an excellent cast portraying characters that were far from boring. The story is standard one: a formerly top attorney has hit bottom and falls into doing a challenging case that could redeem him. But they played the story in a very different way. I really enjoyed it except for a few spots, but what else is new.

Problem is, it's an Amazon movie, so if you don't have Amazon Prime you can't watch it. At least not yet.

Old movie. I watched it because a form of psychological abuse (gaslighting) is named for this drama. Despite the archaic form of acting, I got into this movie enough that it was upsetting me.

  Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior

This is a Disney channel movie for children, but I thought it was great. It succeeds as fun and humor in every place that the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer failed. It is about a teen girl whose main interest is becoming homecoming queen, until she learns that she is the chosen one who must save the world from evil. I watched it on Netflix streaming. The preview will give you an idea of it: http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi1740767513/

This is a political/suspense/love story unlike other movies. Based on real events.

The critics said this movie is uneven in style, and alternate between being irritating and engaging. Also, that it was too slow in the beginning. I know exactly what they were talking about, but I liked what they disliked. This unevenness made it like a cross between the real and the surreal, which is how I've sometimes experienced having to deal with others.

Only problem I had is the editing. There is one segment they should have removed. The segment wrecked the energy of the movie, and was unnecessary. But I think the movie is worth seeing, especially if you like Jennifer Lawrence.

Girl meets boy story. Both have been hit with cancer and they meet in a support group. This movie managed entertain without becoming too formulaic.

I have heard about the experiment, of course, but didn't know about the dude.  He also came up with the 6 degrees of separation.  Good movie too.
