Photoart is the practice of rendering photographs with software in an attempt to make them look like natural media (paintings, drawing, etc.). I took up this hobby in 2002, and quickly learned that it is almost imposible to do. So I set a different goal. I tried to give photos some of the feel I find appealing in natural media, without trying to mimic a particular medium. I have yet to come up with a masterpiece, but it's still fun to try.
